Leaving packages on the porch, or backyard is strictly on an instructional basis (at your own risk).
Otherwise, someone (even if it’s not the account holder), should receive the package and immediately refrigerate it. Meals that are left at the concierge or otherwise (with the client’s approval) is at risk of the client and FitChef Toronto bears no fault.
We do not recommend your meals be left out longer than 2 hours even though they are on ice – doing so is at the client’s risk.
We will be in contact with you the previous night/ morning of with a delivery window so you can plan your day accordingly.
No worries, let us know at least 4 days before delivery (if you’ve purchased a multi-week plan).
You can defer to another week when you’re available.
Most meals are freezer safe. We don’t recommend you freeze fish or any salads.
Any fish/seafood dishes are recommended to be consumed first within 2 days.
Salads up to 3-4 days, your da 4& 5+ meal can be frozen upon receiving and take it out the night before for day 5 or weekend. We do not recommend keeping meals without freezing past 5 days. Doing so is at the client's risk.
While all FitChef Toronto meals are made in keeping with best food safety practices, the Client is responsible for the proper storage of meals and expected to follow any received instructions regarding their handling.
You agree that FitChef Toronto does not assume liability for any illness or reaction that the Client experiences from consumption of our products.
Most dishes/ingredients are gluten-free. But if you specify you need it gluten-free; we’re extra diligent to make sure your preference is honoured.
If you do have Celiac, we must inform you that the kitchen is not a strict gluten-free kitchen.
We create delicious plant-based options as well! You Can always find vegan options in our weekly menus!
